Welton primary school

Our recent OFSTED says of our children - "They say how much they enjoy coming to school because learning is made fun" and this school year so far has proved just that!

Exciting things have been happening this academic year at Welton Primary School, some of them in school and some of them on school trips.

Our Year 6 children have spent a week in Devon at Heatree House, doing lots of outside activities including kayaking. Our Year 5 children spent three days at Kilve Court near Minehead. They learnt to climb a wall and abseil back down! The Year 4 children have been improving their swimming skills each week at the local leisure centre and the Year 3 children had a fantastic day at Farrington Farm.

Imagine the delight on our Year 5 and 6 children’s faces, when we took them by coach to London! After a journey in, passing the London sights, we spent time at the Imperial War Museum, seeing things the children have learnt about whilst studying World War II.

It all adds up to what OFSTED said about our school children – “They say how much they enjoy coming to school because learning is made fun.”

Why not come and see the great things happening at Welton Primary School for yourself?
